About The Position

This is a long-term substitute position for a 2nd-grade teacher at Dorothy Dodd Elementary. The duration of the assignment is approximately from October 15, 2026, to February 26, 2027. The substitute teacher will be responsible for developing and supporting curriculum, facilitating instruction, and evaluating student progress. They will also collaborate with other educational professionals, administrators, parents, and district personnel regarding student needs and district learning initiatives.

Requirements

• Current Minnesota teaching license required.
• Ability to obtain a Minnesota teaching license in the assigned area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support curriculum in assigned instructional subjects.
• Facilitate instruction.
• Evaluate and assess student progress against instructional outcomes and objectives.
• Participate and collaborate with other instructional professionals, administrators, parents, counselors, and other district personnel concerning student needs, issues, and district learning initiatives, curriculum, and building issues.
