Long Term Care Physician – Post-Acute Care Doctor
About The Position
MedCap Health is hiring a full-time Long Term Care Physician to help build its clinical team as it expands into the community. The physician will provide post-acute and long-term care in skilled nursing facilities, managing complex cases involving patients discharged early from hospitals. The role includes collaborating with Nurse Practitioners and specialists to deliver hospital-level care in a long-term setting and promoting continuity, quality, and compassion in patient interactions. The position offers autonomy in managing time, along with oversight and training in a flexible and supportive work environment.
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in internal medicine, geriatrics, critical care, or family practice.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a hospitalist or in leadership positions is strongly preferred.
