About The Position
MedCap Health is seeking a physician to lead care teams in skilled nursing facilities and manage complex cases of patients discharged early from hospitals. The physician will collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and specialists to deliver hospital-level care in a long-term setting, supporting continuity, quality, and compassionate patient interactions. The position offers full-time, part-time, or customized scheduling. It is a contract position with pay of $100,000–$250,000+ per year. The role includes malpractice coverage and administrative support, with no overnight or weekend work stated.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in internal medicine, critical care, family practice, or geriatrics.

- Previous experience in a leadership position or as a hospitalist is strongly preferred.
