About The Position
MedCap Health is seeking a physician to provide post-acute care in skilled nursing facilities. The physician leads care teams managing complex cases of patients discharged early from hospitals and collaborates with Nurse Practitioners and specialists to deliver hospital-level care in a long-term setting. The role emphasizes continuity, quality, and compassionate patient care, along with physician autonomy and schedule flexibility. This is a contract position offering a flexible schedule, with full-time, part-time, or customized hours available.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in internal medicine, critical care, family practice, or geriatrics.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in leadership positions or as a hospitalist is strongly preferred.
