About The Position

The Logistics Technician performs logistics-related duties, including work involving customs procedures, international trade documentation, ERP systems, and handling electronic equipment. The role requires accurate understanding of packing requirements and measurements for shipment size and weight, as well as careful attention to detail to achieve right-first-time results. Some controlled lifting is part of the job, and the technician must follow proper health and safety practices. Duties may also include other tasks within the employee’s capacity as required by the company. The successful candidate is customer-, action-, and results-oriented, responsible, organized, autonomous, accurate, and able to work effectively as part of a team. They must learn quickly and meet deadlines under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Requirements

Two years of relevant experience in a similar position.
Knowledge of customs procedures, including document verification and customs compliance.
Familiarity with international trade, including Incoterms and import/export documents.
Very good computer literacy and understanding of databases, email, and spreadsheets.
Good verbal and written reporting skills.
Ability to understand packing requirements and accurately measure shipment size and weight.
Good general fitness; some controlled lifting is part of the job.
Ability to understand and observe proper health and safety practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to learn new skills, technologies, and ideas rapidly.
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Customer-, action-, and results-oriented approach.
Strong sense of responsibility and organization.
