About The Position

Fairweather’s client is seeking a highly motivated, multi-skilled Logistics Specialist to support its winter 2026/2027 Exploration Campaign. The role spans multiple areas of the program and coordinates personnel, freight, aviation, and fuel logistics in the field and back to Deadhorse. The specialist may also assist with reporting, regulatory escorts, and other program needs. The position is seasonal and anticipated to run from November 2026 to May 2027. It also supports emergency response as needed, from incident command to a support unit, depending on the incident and its severity. Most work takes place in a remote field environment on Alaska’s North Slope, with occasional office work during planning activities. The work combines sedentary and active tasks and may involve prolonged sitting and typing, walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds over uneven, icy, or rocky terrain.
