About The Position

As a Logistics Specialist at RXO, you will provide logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination. RXO is a transportation solutions provider that uses technology and a large North American network to help shippers and carriers transport goods.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of logistics experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; provide receivers and customers with load status updates.
• Monitor daily pickups and deliveries, verifying loads arrive on time and in good condition.
• Take check calls from drivers, help ensure loads will deliver on time, and validate load data before marking loads delivered for accounting purposes.
• Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages, and complete appropriate documentation.
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept or decline loads based on account manager direction.
• Provide detailed directions and instructions to route drivers.
