About The Position

Under moderate supervision, the Logistics Spec I performs material handling, inventory coordination, and distribution tasks supporting manufacturing, service centers, and logistics operations. The position ensures timely and accurate movement, tracking, and documentation of materials in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. It supports inventory and warehousing duties in Gulfstream’s product support distribution center.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Entry-level position.
Valid driver’s license required.
Must be able to obtain certification to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment and meet all training requirements.
Must comply with FAA regulations and quality procedures for documentation.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to work all shifts and weekends.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

Experience with inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Process pick tickets and material requests by pulling, issuing, and transporting parts for manufacturing, service centers, spare parts sales, backshops, and distribution centers.
Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles to move materials between departments and designated locations.
Unload freight and verify paperwork.
Maintain inventory accuracy through proper data entry and use of inventory management systems such as SAP and Corridor.
Track parts to support schedules and customer requirements.
Follow established procedures, identify potential hazards, and ensure work meets regulatory and company standards for safety and quality.
Handle Dangerous Goods according to standards.
Assist with inspection and tagging.
Communicate and follow up clearly on discrepancies.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Participate in improvement initiatives and support Lean and sustainability initiatives.
Learn and apply Lean concepts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
