About The Position

The Logistics Spec I supports inventory and warehousing duties in Gulfstream’s product support distribution center. Under moderate supervision, this entry-level position performs material handling, inventory coordination, and distribution tasks supporting manufacturing, service centers, and logistics operations. The role ensures the timely and accurate movement, tracking, and documentation of materials in accordance with safety, quality, regulatory, FAA, and company requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to obtain certification to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment and meet training requirements.
Ability to comply with FAA regulations and quality procedures for documentation.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work all shifts and weekends.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

Experience with inventory systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Process pick tickets and material requests by pulling, issuing, and transporting parts for manufacturing, service centers, spare parts sales, backshops, and distribution centers.
Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles to move materials between departments and designated locations.
Unload freight and verify paperwork.
Enter inventory data and use inventory management systems to maintain inventory accuracy.
Track parts to support schedules and customer requirements.
Follow safety procedures, identify potential hazards, and ensure work meets regulatory and company standards.
Handle dangerous goods in accordance with applicable standards.
Assist with inspection and tagging.
Communicate and follow up on discrepancies.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Participate in improvement initiatives and support Lean and sustainability initiatives.
Learn and apply Lean concepts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
