About The Position

This position is responsible for tasks related to receiving, storing, fulfilling, and shipping customer orders. The role involves accurate, timely picking and preparation of orders; maintaining product and customer standards; supporting inventory control and replenishment; and operating material handling equipment and logistics systems. The work takes place in a standard indoor industrial setting that may include warehouse, manufacturing, maintenance, or production areas, including refrigerated environments of 36°F to 46°F. This is a full-time regular colleague position.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Zero to one year of work experience in general warehousing or manufacturing, including order assembly, shipping/receiving, stocking, inventory maintenance, and picking/verification functions.
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures.
Knowledge of and ability to apply hazardous materials packing and shipping requirements.
Ability to maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
Willingness to work overtime as needed to complete daily business volume.
Ability to work in warm and/or refrigerated environments.
Demonstrated hard work, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds routinely and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
Ability to access all areas of the facility.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, such as ear plugs, safety shoes, safety glasses, protective clothing, and/or headwear.

Nice To Haves

Forklift training or certification is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring the correct item, lot number, and quantity are assembled.
Prepare orders for shipment, including checking cartons and packing materials into boxes, containers, and pallets with appropriate product protection and shipping methods.
Follow standard operating procedures and standards of care to meet product and customer requirements.
Participate in Safety Team and EHS programs.
Perform inventory counts according to established schedules and requirements.
Pick cold-chain orders in refrigerated environments of 36°F to 46°F.
Use logistics-support systems, including Transportation Management System, RCS, Voice Technology, and Warehouse Management System.
Keep work areas clean and orderly to promote the safety of self and colleagues.
Assist team members in balancing workloads and maintaining consistent productivity.
Operate material handling equipment (MHE) daily.
Perform stock and module replenishments.
Unload sorter lanes and verify that the indicated shipment mode is correct for the assigned pallet.
