About The Position

This position performs tasks related to receiving, storing, fulfilling, and shipping customer orders. It involves accurate and timely order picking, preparing and packing shipments to protect products and meet customer requirements, following standard operating procedures, conducting inventory counts and replenishments, and using logistics systems and material handling equipment. The role also supports safety programs, maintains clean work areas, and assists colleagues in balancing workloads. Some orders are picked in refrigerated environments between 36°F and 46°F.

The work takes place in a standard indoor industrial setting that may include warehousing, manufacturing, maintenance, or production areas. Routine lifting up to 40 pounds and occasional lifting up to 80 pounds are required, along with access to all facility areas. Required personal protective equipment may include ear plugs, safety shoes, safety glasses, protective clothing, and headwear.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Zero to one year of work experience in general warehousing or manufacturing, including order assembly, shipping and receiving, stocking, inventory maintenance, or picking and verification.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge and application of hazardous materials packing and shipping requirements.
• Ability to maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to complete daily business volume.
• Ability to work in warm and/or refrigerated environments.
• Hard work, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds, and access all areas of the facility.
• Wear required personal protective equipment, which may include ear plugs, safety shoes, safety glasses, protective clothing, and headwear.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately and promptly, confirming the correct item, lot number, and quantity.
• Prepare orders for shipment, checking cartons and packing products into boxes, containers, or pallets with appropriate protection and shipment methods.
• Follow standard operating procedures and standards of care to meet product and customer requirements.
• Participate in Safety Team and EHS programs.
• Perform inventory counts according to established schedules and requirements.
• Pick cold-chain orders in a refrigerated environment between 36°F and 46°F.
• Use logistics-support systems, including Transportation Management, RCS, Voice Technology, and Warehouse Management systems.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly to support workplace safety.
• Assist other team members in balancing workloads and maintaining consistent productivity.
• Operate material handling equipment daily.
• Perform stock and module replenishments.
• Unload sorter lanes and verify that the shipment mode indicated is correct for the assigned pallet.
