About The Position

Nightwing is seeking a cleared logistics professional to support customer requirements and mission and contract success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role is part of a diverse team and requires a self-starter and team player with experience across warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory, shipping, transportation, data entry, and audits. The employee interacts with internal and external customers daily, in person and through other communication channels. The position is performed on-site daily in the Sterling, Virginia area, with a Monday–Friday 0700–1600 9/80 schedule. Periodic CONUS travel is required to manage offsite shipments and logistics functions. An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required, and an active, transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance must be in place before the start date. U.S. citizenship is required. Requirements

Minimum three years of relevant work experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; active and transferable U.S. government-issued clearance is required before the start date.
U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
Experience packing large and small shipments and crating or palletizing accountable equipment.
Ability to meet warehouse physical demands, including bending, squatting, twisting, climbing ladders, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds unassisted, and walking and standing for extended periods.
Familiarity with government property and material tracking systems, including catalog creation, receipt recording, physical inventory, inventory system updates, and issuance.
Working knowledge of FAR Part 45 and FAR 52.245-1 processes for managing property and consumable material on government contracts.
Familiarity with disposition processes for government property, including accountable assets.
Ability to travel periodically within the continental United States for offsite shipments and logistics functions.
Typically, a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of two years of prior relevant experience; the posting also specifies a minimum of three years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities
