About The Position

The Logistics Planner coordinates inbound and outbound shipments between manufacturing facilities, operational bases, and freight partners. The role supports efficient transportation, accurate shipping documentation, shipment tracking, and timely delivery of materials while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards. The planner works with internal teams, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to support operational needs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of logistics, shipping, transportation, or supply chain experience.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• SAP or JDE experience.
• A bachelor's degree or AFTA.
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments.
• Prepare shipping documentation and ensure shipments are ready.
• Track and expedite incoming and outgoing freight.
• Coordinate truckload, LTL, inter-plant, and warehouse shipments.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, freight forwarders, and key stakeholders to support operational needs.
