About The Position

The Logistics Operator pulls and stages orders from inventory, including large and heavy products such as windows and related materials. The role involves manually moving oversized items, loading trucks and trailers, handling inventory, verifying orders, and ensuring loads are stable and secure. The operator uses material-handling equipment as needed, performs equipment pre-checks, and maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following safety procedures and working collaboratively with the team. Overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules may be required to meet operational demands.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage orders from inventory, including large and heavy products such as windows and related materials.
• Manually lift, carry, and move heavy and oversized items throughout the warehouse and loading areas.
• Load trucks and trailers, ensuring products are secure and properly positioned for transport.
• Stock, restock, and organize materials in designated areas.
• Verify pulled orders against required manifests before loading.
• Perform a full “360 Walk Around” to ensure loads are balanced, stable, and safely secured for delivery.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Complete pre-use equipment checks for forklifts, trailers, and company vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Follow safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of required PPE.
• Work with team members to complete physically demanding tasks efficiently and safely.
• Perform additional warehouse duties, including continuous movement of inventory and materials.
• Work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as needed to meet operational demands.
