About The Position

The Logistics Operator pulls and stages orders from inventory, including large and heavy products such as windows and related materials. The role involves manually moving materials throughout the warehouse and loading areas, loading and securing products for transport, and maintaining accurate inventory movement and order verification. The operator also conducts equipment pre-checks, performs load safety inspections, maintains a clean and safe work area, and collaborates with team members to complete warehouse tasks. Overtime, weekend work, or adjusted schedules may be needed to meet operational demands.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage orders from inventory, including large and heavy products such as windows and related materials.
• Manually lift, carry, and move heavy and oversized items throughout the warehouse and loading areas.
• Load trucks and trailers with product, ensuring all items are secure and properly positioned for transport.
• Stock, restock, and organize materials in designated areas.
• Verify pulled orders against required manifests before loading.
• Perform a full 360 Walk Around to ensure loads are balanced, stable, and safely secured for delivery.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed to move heavy products.
• Complete pre-use equipment checks for forklifts, trailers, and company vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Follow safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and required PPE use.
• Work with team members to complete physically demanding tasks efficiently and safely.
• Perform additional warehouse duties, including continuous movement of inventory and materials.
• Work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as needed to meet operational demands.
