About The Position

Wieser Concrete Products, Inc., a manufacturer of precast concrete products for agricultural, commercial, highway, and underground applications, is seeking a highly organized and dependable Logistics Operations Manager. This hands-on operational management role oversees daily truck dispatching, delivery scheduling, load planning, and customer project coordination. The manager coordinates multiple trucks, drivers, customers, and delivery schedules, serving as a central point of communication among drivers, loaders, production facilities, sales personnel, and customers. The position requires sound decision-making, the ability to anticipate and resolve challenges, and the capacity to balance customer needs with fleet efficiency and operational demands. The role is full-time and in-person, Monday through Friday, with shifts typically lasting 10 hours from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Compensation starts at $36–$42 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, with overtime paid at time and a half. An initial probationary period applies.

Requirements

Experience in dispatching, trucking, logistics, transportation, or project coordination is preferred.
Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Ability to read basic blueprints and understand measurements, weights, and product dimensions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook, and other scheduling systems.
Ability to manage multiple communication channels simultaneously, including phone, text, radio, email, and in-person communication.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, attention to detail, and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of CDL regulations, oversized loads, permits, and transportation requirements.
Experience in agriculture, excavation, construction, underground utilities, or concrete-related industries.

Responsibilities

Manage daily truck dispatching, driver assignments, delivery schedules, and load planning.
Coordinate customer projects involving multiple deliveries, specialized equipment, and changing jobsite requirements.
Maximize fleet efficiency through effective routing, scheduling, and resource utilization.
Work with dispatchers at other Wieser Concrete locations to coordinate deliveries and optimize company-wide transportation resources.
Communicate with customers, drivers, sales personnel, production teams, and loaders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Anticipate scheduling conflicts, adjust plans as circumstances change, and proactively resolve problems.
Take ownership of daily logistics operations while balancing customer satisfaction, safety, and transportation costs.
