ATS is looking for a Logistics Management Analyst (Unit Supply) to work Overseas. Location TBD. This role involves working in the command’s log cell as a logistician, providing support and having a complete understanding of logistics operations that include Plans and Operations that provides theater level logistics to the command’s AOR. The position requires a good working knowledge of Supply Chain Management and the distribution of supplies and materiel in and out of the Command’s AOR. The analyst will reconcile authorization documents with property records, identify, initiate, and track administrative changes, and review theater level property records to identify shortages and coordinate with the National Inventory Control Point for requisition and releases/shipment of high-priority items. The role also includes preparing various supply and administrative documents, operating vehicles when required, preparing equipment for movement via ground and/or air transport, and conducting pack, wrap, and ship operations. Experience with Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A) is preferred, along with a thorough understanding of manual unit supply procedures. The analyst will also conduct physical inventories, adjust and maintain inventory records, process requisitions, and manage stock item receipts, storage, and issuance. Training subordinate personnel in unit supply management functions is also a key responsibility. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet stringent timelines, and perform data entry on compatible microcomputers. Personnel must be physically fit, able to survive in an austere and inhospitable environment, and willing to work long hours over extended periods.
