About The Position

The Logistics/Lift Truck Operator is responsible for operating powered lift equipment to support the efficient movement of merchandise into and out of the distribution center. The role includes moving products through receiving and storage areas, replenishing order-selection locations, loading trailers, placing incoming merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations, and retrieving merchandise orders for stores. Employees must perform all work safely and consistently with corporate policies and applicable state and federal laws, while demonstrating the company's values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. The essential functions must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• High school education or GED and one year of work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to use common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work weekends on a regular basis.
• Ability to work overtime on a frequent basis.
• Ability to work any shift.
• Familiarity with distribution center terms and processes.
• Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and projects.
• Ability to work within set time frames and fixed deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered lift equipment to move product from receiving areas to storage areas.
• Replenish order-selection locations.
• Load trailers.
• Place incoming merchandise in the proper warehouse location, moving merchandise as needed to make room.
• Separate and move pallets as needed.
• Retrieve merchandise orders for stores.
• Perform tasks safely and in accordance with corporate policies and applicable state and federal laws.
• Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
