About The Position

As a Specialist, Logistics at RXO, you will provide logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination. The position is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Compensation is $21–$23; the role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary based on experience and skill set. RXO is a transportation solutions provider that uses technology, a broad network, and a commitment to solving challenges to help shippers and carriers transport goods across North America.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics experience.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
General knowledge of the transportation industry.
Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to use common-sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, verbal, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
Update account managers about problem loads and actions taken, and update receivers and customers on load status.
Monitor daily pickups and deliveries and verify loads arrive on time and in good condition.
Take check calls from drivers, ensure loads are on track to deliver on time, and validate load data before marking loads delivered for accounting purposes.
Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages, and complete appropriate documentation.
Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept or decline loads based on account managers’ direction.
Provide detailed directions and instructions to route drivers appropriately.
