About The Position

RXO is a transportation solutions provider that uses technology and a broad North American network to help shippers and carriers transport goods. The Specialist, Logistics provides logistics support through order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Compensation is $21–$23; the role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary based on experience and skill set.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics experience.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
General knowledge of the transportation industry.
Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
Update account managers about problem loads and actions taken, and update receivers and customers on load status.
Monitor daily pickups and deliveries and verify loads arrive on time and in good condition.
Take check calls from drivers to help ensure on-time delivery; validate load data before marking loads delivered for accounting purposes.
Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages, and complete appropriate documentation.
Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for loads; accept or decline loads as directed by account managers.
Provide detailed directions and instructions to route drivers.
