About The Position

ECHO Incorporated is seeking a Logistics Intern for its Lake Zurich facility. The internship provides educational and practical, on-the-job experience applying relevant academic skills in a professional setting. The intern will be exposed to a variety of logistics and transportation functions and projects. Candidates must be enrolled in a college or university program in Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Business and be working toward a bachelor's degree, with a GPA of 3.0 or better.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a college or university and working toward a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Business.
• Have a grade point average of 3.0 or better.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Exercise sound judgment, discretion, and strict confidentiality.
• Build positive working relationships and contribute as a team-oriented colleague.
• Demonstrate initiative and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Be able to create reports and analyze data.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain trade compliance databases, import and export reports, and tracking tools.
• Assist with international shipping and customs documentation.
• Maintain import and export logs.
• Process freight invoices.
• Provide day-to-day support to the Transportation team.
