About The Position
AJM Packaging Corporation, a leading manufacturer of paper products, is seeking Warehouse & Logistics Interns in Vineland, NJ. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to learn various aspects of operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may involve being on your feet for most of the day in a facility that is not fully climate-controlled.
- Availability to travel to Michigan twice for 2-3 days each for the opening and closing presentations of the internship.
Responsibilities
- Learn, perform, and understand all functions involved in logistics, warehouse, and inventory to support production facility needs.
- Participate in a project-based program to gain experience in shipping/receiving operations and inventory management software.
- Engage in shadowing employees and working specific jobs, potentially including production line work, machine maintenance, and scheduling.
- Work directly with the logistics team on daily operational needs.
- Take ownership of special projects as directed by the warehouse manager and plant manager.
