About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator plans and executes complex logistics operations supporting the acquisition, transport, and regulatory compliance of radioactive materials for Niowave’s programs.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, nuclear engineering, applied physics, supply chain, or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience with either of the following: Handling radioactive materials in a lab or cGMP environment Shipping/receiving duties including document control in the warehouse industry
  • Experience with electronic document inventory system
  • Knowledge and experience with hazardous/non-hazardous labeling standards and practices
  • Valid driver’s license with clean MVR record
  • Ability to travel internationally

  • 5+ years’ experience with document control experience in the shipping/receiving warehouse industry
  • Experience working in GMP and NRC regulated facilities

Responsibilities

  • Works with the internal teams to plan retrieval and transport operations
  • Develops logistics timelines aligned with project schedules
  • Identifies logistical risks and propose mitigation strategies
  • Supports planning of material recovery missions from domestic or international locations
  • Handles sealed and unsealed forms of radioactive material with potentially unknown physical conditions
  • Provides Cross-Functional Collaboration and serves as a communication hub between internal teams and external logistics stakeholders
  • Plans and coordinates domestic and international shipments of radioactive materials in compliance with all applicable regulations (e.g., DOT, IAEA, NRC, IATA, and country-specific requirements)
  • Ensures all shipments comply with applicable safety and regulatory requirements
  • Maintains detailed records of shipping documentation, permits, and compliance approvals
