Requirements

  • University degree Required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Engineering Science, Operations Management, or Supply Chain considered an asset
  • logistics background an asset
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and SAP is an asset
  • Bilingual (French) an asset

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the execution of receiving, picking and shipment processes according to defined standards and targets.
  • Improve operations by finding opportunities and proposing solutions using management system tools and methodologies to ensure key performance indicators and targets are achieved or exceeded.
  • Manage department resources and track via SAP and High Jump
  • Managing outbound and inbound shipping at sites
  • Check expected delivery schedule of raw materials to ensure materials arrive when scheduled and offloaded in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring in transit report and update BOL filing.
  • Assisting teams with various day to day logistics tasks.
  • Leading improvement in line with various excellence programs
  • Manage vendor payments, purchase orders and GRs
