A third-party logistics (3PL) provider that specializes in coordinating the movement of critical freight for customers across the United States. Acting as a “middleman,” they connect manufacturers with transportation carriers to ensure shipments are picked up and delivered efficiently, on time, and cost-effectively. The company primarily supports clients in the automotive and manufacturing industries, handling time-sensitive parts essential to production operations. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing customer shipments from start to finish. You will work directly with customers via phone to understand their transportation needs, determine the best shipping solutions, and ensure successful delivery through tracking and communication. This is an entry-level opportunity within Ascent’s Operations Center, which includes three teams: Delivery Assurance, Freight Forwarding, and Air Charter. Each team supports different stages of the logistics process but shares similar responsibilities focused on customer service and shipment coordination.
