About The Position

First Quality is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for its First Quality Consumer Products company in McElhattan, Pennsylvania. The position organizes and maintains data and documentation for the carrier partner network, supporting the execution team and proactively analyzing carrier performance to help ensure high levels of customer service. The role also supports transportation operations, monitors key performance indicators, and identifies opportunities for supply-chain cost containment and continuous improvement.

The coordinator administers carrier setup and documentation, maintains master data and rates for the SAP transportation management system, and provides analytical support for carrier and planner reviews, logistics projects, and the Logistics Supervisor. The position serves as a backup to transportation coordinators.

Requirements

• One to three years of experience with supply-chain analytics.
• Competence with Windows and Microsoft Office/Microsoft Suite, with advanced Excel and Access skills.
• Comfort presenting information to senior management.
• Working knowledge of software and its impact on internal and external customers.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding customer commitments.
• Highly motivated and detail-oriented, with strong data-management and analytical skills.
• Strong analytical background and database systems-processing skills.
• Good oral and written communication, computer, reasoning, and mathematical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business Logistics, MIS, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP and transportation-management-system data.

Responsibilities

• Administer the new carrier setup process.
• Coordinate and maintain carrier documentation, including CDA, MSA, rate tables, and accessorial contracts.
• Maintain master data for the SAP TMS application and perform rate-loading activities related to the application.
• Perform analytics for new rate proposals in support of the Logistics Supervisor.
• Develop carrier scorecards and a standard review template.
• Coordinate carrier reviews based on engagement and service levels.
• Analyze carrier tender rejections to identify trends and alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Analyze problem service lanes and carriers and provide suggestions to the Logistics Supervisor.
• Develop a planner scorecard and review process focused on service, routing-guide compliance, transactional activity and balance across planners, and value-stream opportunities.
• Collect data and provide information and detailed analytical support for project-related functions.
• Provide backup support to transportation coordinators.
• Monitor and own KPI tracking and analysis.
• Develop continual-improvement cost-containment opportunities for the supply chain.
