We boldly go. Job Summary: Trane Technologies is hiring a Logistics Coordinator in GRF. In this role, you will support the Logistics Operations Manager by executing projects including completion of standard work, conducting transportation planning, and assisting other logistics planners within the team. You will work to ensure that transportation decisions include rates, on-time delivery, and quality to create the “best value” for both Trane Technologies and the customer.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering or related field
2+ years’ experience in Supply Chain or Transportation preferred
Transportation management systems experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Proficiency with Microsoft applications with emphasis on Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members

Responsibilities

Provide logistics planning for assigned facilities
Back up other transportation planners, as required
Develop and implement innovative and aggressive approaches to transportation process and price reduction improvements
Contribute to long-range planning and priority setting for the transportation team
Assist with improvements to all IT system enhancement projects related to transportation/Other duties as assigned
