About The Position

We are immediately hiring a Logistics Clerk in El Paso, TX, for our Supply Chain Solutions division. As a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting our supply chain operations. You'll be responsible for: Empty Trailer Inspections Facilitate In/Out gate processes, yard management, and dispatch Providing administrative support such as administering customer transactions and reporting. Requirements

  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • One (1) year or more clerical or warehouse experience required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Empty Trailer Inspections
  • Facilitate In/Out gate processes, yard management, and dispatch
  • Providing administrative support such as administering customer transactions and reporting.
  • Support customers both internal and external
  • Support warehouse operations as needed
  • Responsible for ensuring any and all necessary forms used for the day-to-day operations are filled out completely and accurately
  • Create/maintain daily dock schedules.
  • Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses.
  • Interacts with customer and contractors - answering questions regarding shipment times, product cuts, loads not picked up by the carrier.
  • Ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder
  • Performs basic administrative tasks
  • The Logistic Coordinator I may be required to support the client after hours, such as nights, weekends and/or holidays via cell phone rotation and remote equipment
  • Processes Small Package in Warehouse Management System
  • Prepare and process all customs documents for international and USA shipments.
  • Coordinate and monitor logistics of the movement of parts, supplies and materials within an establishment and ensure supplies, materials and products are shipped and received on schedule.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
