As a Logistics Coordinator, you will actively contribute to the planning and coordination of goods flow, shipments, and deliveries. You will serve as the primary link between suppliers and the company while participating in the improvement of logistics processes within our warehouse.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a positive team-oriented attitude. (Priority before all other qualities)
- More than 2 years of experience in the supply chain industry or operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and the Google suite (Sheets, Gmail), with an ability to learn an ERP system.
- Ideally bilingual (French and English), both oral and written, or in the process of becoming so.
Nice To Haves
- Certificate in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent diploma (asset).
- Experience working in an e-commerce environment (asset).
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry for future incoming merchandise receptions.
- Participate in identifying shipping methods and selecting the most efficient carriers.
- Prepare and coordinate domestic and international shipments of products from our suppliers to the distribution center.
- Perform any administrative task necessary for logistics with the help of technological tools such as scripts, artificial intelligence, Google Sheets, and others.
- Verify the compliance of shipping documents to ensure all standards are met.
- Facilitate communication between the warehouse, the purchasing team, and suppliers to ensure fluid operations.
- Support the management of customs and transportation tasks by interacting with logistics providers.
- Resolve issues related to logistics, customs information, and transportation in collaboration with external partners.
- Prepare and import data files into our systems using Excel and Google Sheets.
- Collaborate on the implementation of supply chain process improvement projects.
