Logistics Clerk - Panavision Woodland Hills
About The Position
Panavision is seeking a temporary, part-time Logistics Clerk to receive and inspect equipment and other deliveries, package and ship items to Panavision branches, customers, and vendors, and assist with driver duties. The role works in a warehouse environment and involves handling equipment carefully, maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records, and supporting safe pickups and deliveries. Compensation is $18.42 per hour. The position works standard business hours. Prompt, regular attendance is required, with employees expected to begin and finish their scheduled shifts as assigned. Long hours and some weekend work may be required. Duties and responsibilities may change with or without notice.
Requirements
- Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of or prior experience with motion picture production.
- Ability to maintain effectiveness and solve problems under pressure.
- Ability to manage time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work on one's own initiative.
- A current California driver's license in good standing that meets company insurance requirements.
- Knowledge of current electrical safety standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Ability to actively communicate and listen, and frequently stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
Responsibilities
- Ship and receive equipment through the Pinnacle system by scanning items and manually entering them into a computer.
- Inspect equipment and cases for damage.
- Immediately report missing or damaged items to the Logistics Lead.
- Route returned equipment to designated areas or departments.
- Maintain barcode integrity by ensuring equipment is engraved and barcodes are legible.
- Receive and document all non-rental equipment.
- Treat equipment and cases with care.
- Safely drive company vehicles for pickups and deliveries as needed.
- Follow safety guidelines and precautions to prevent injuries and accidents.
- Handle solvents, chemicals, sharp items, and potentially dangerous equipment safely.
- Use safe manual lifting techniques.
