About The Position

The Logistics Associate supports the Logistics team with day-to-day reporting, data analysis, booking and shipment monitoring, and maintenance of logistics information. The role provides accurate and timely data while identifying exceptions, trends, and operational issues that require attention. It develops and distributes logistics reports and analyses, supports business performance reviews, and works with internal stakeholders and logistics partners to maintain data quality and improve shipment performance.

Requirements

5–7 years of experience in analysis, planning, international logistics, or a related supply-chain function.
Experience with data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and reporting, including the ability to draw conclusions and provide summary analysis and interpretation to business leadership.
Demonstrated logic and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to identify opportunities and foresee implications of new information.
Basic understanding of relational database structures and queries.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex systems and processes and influence others based on findings.
Ability to manage multiple workflows and priorities simultaneously while supporting the broader logistics team.
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage time-sensitive priorities.
Strong customer-service and internal client-support skills.
Experience with logistics reporting, KPI tracking, data reconciliation, and dashboard reporting.
Flexibility to work overtime, adjusted hours, or occasional weekends as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
Experience with export/import supply-chain processes and familiarity with U.S., Canada, and EU import compliance protocols.
Proven data-analysis skills and experience with data visualization tools.
Experience building reports, analyses, and dashboards with Excel, SQL databases, Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, Power Query, Infor Nexus, or similar analytical tools.
Experience with SAP, Infor Nexus, or similar ERP or supply-chain systems.
Advanced Excel skills, including logical functions, macros, and VBA programming.
Self-starter with a strong interest in analysis and curiosity about the underlying story in data.

Responsibilities

Develop, produce, manage, analyze, and distribute logistics reports and ad hoc analyses using Power BI datasets for global logistics operations metrics.
Present findings and trends through dashboards and other visualizations.
Develop and lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly logistics KPI reports and support business performance reviews with internal customers and logistics partners.
Oversee logistics data integrity and conduct continuous data-quality analysis by evaluating partner EDI and ASN data.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and logistics partners to address data inconsistencies.
Monitor booking and shipment data for accuracy, completeness, and timely status updates.
Support resolution and alignment of pending shipment questions, including bookings, options, and performance.
Work cross-functionally within the supply chain to smooth shipment spikes and enhance performance.
Support vendor management through KPI development and oversight, investigating discrepancies as needed.
Develop expertise with logistics business intelligence and reporting tools, including Power BI and Infor Nexus.
