About The Position

S. Clyde Weaver is hiring a full-time Logistics Associate for its East Petersburg location. The position is scheduled for 35–40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with no weekends. The role involves warehouse operations, inventory and order fulfillment, shipping, operating machinery, and driving company vehicles to assist with product deliveries. The position also assists the Logistics Manager with wholesaling duties. Employees receive free lunches and generous discounts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive and friendly attitude.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• 0–2 years of warehouse experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products on company trucks.
• Receive and unload merchandise from vendors.
• Transport merchandise within the facility.
• Assist with product handling and inventory.
• Fulfill orders for various work locations.
• Maintain proper safety standards.
• Keep the warehouse organized and clean.
• Operate machinery, including a meat slicer, baler, and forklift.
• Fuel company vehicles.
• Drive company vehicles and assist with product deliveries.
• Assist the Logistics Manager with wholesaling duties, including inventory, fulfillment, and shipping.
