About The Position

The Logistics Associate II operates a forklift to receive, locate, and move products throughout the warehouse; fills customer orders accurately; and transports orders to the truck line shipping area. The position also performs quality control checks to ensure orders are complete and accurate, while maintaining a productive, safety-conscious approach and meeting company standards. The role is fully onsite at Insight’s Hanover Park, Illinois office and works from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This is a W2 temporary position. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 6 months of warehouse experience.
At least 1 year of experience with Crown stand-up forklifts and cherry pickers.
Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently.
Knowledge of receiving, warehouse, and safety procedures.
Some computer experience.
Ability to communicate in and understand English to the extent necessary to perform the essential job functions.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift to receive, locate, and move products throughout the warehouse.
Off-load daily shipments and stage them properly on the receiving floor.
Accurately count and document inbound deliveries.
Perform proper maintenance on forklifts.
Pick customer orders and ensure the correct number and type of product are picked, packed, and shipped.
Weigh and inspect orders, load trucks, and assemble merchandise for shipment.
Transport orders to the truck line shipping area.
Perform quality control checks to ensure orders are complete and accurate.
Follow warehouse and safety procedures and meet company standards.
