About The Position

The Logistics and Material Coordinator supports the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials between facilities. This role focuses on inventory control, intercompany shipments, transportation coordination, and warehouse operations support. The position ensures data accuracy, adherence to safety procedures, and effective collaboration with internal teams and external logistics partners.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in materials management, logistics, or inventory control.
Ability to accurately enter, review, and manage inventory and shipping data in computer-based systems.
Proficiency with basic computer applications, inventory systems, and data entry processes.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Familiarity with intercompany logistics or multi-site inventory coordination.
Experience supporting warehouse operations or third-party logistics providers.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced operational setting.

Responsibilities

Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to support inter-facility transfers and operational needs.
Coordinate transportation and shipping activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely material movement.
Maintain inventory accuracy by reviewing transactions, reconciling records, and resolving ERP or data discrepancies.
Support warehouse operations by collaborating with internal teams and third-party logistics providers.
Promote safety and compliance by following procedures, inspecting storage conditions, and supporting training on shipping and inventory documentation.
