About The Position

As a 2027 summer intern with Textron Systems, the Logistics Analyst will support continuous improvement activities in the warehouse, logistics, and expeditor departments. The role focuses on improving organizational processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and safety. The intern will map workflows, identify waste and low-value activities, and recommend solutions to address problems of varying complexity. They will use rapid problem-solving techniques and methods such as gap analysis, PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act), and Kaizen to analyze existing processes. The intern will also contribute to project technical tasks and milestones and prepare clear improvement plans.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and applications.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Effective written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities
