About The Position

The Logistics Analyst, Inbound/Outbound is a key member of Redwood Materials’ Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Logistics Operations team. Based at the Battery Materials Campus (BMC) in Sparks, Nevada, the role coordinates inbound raw material and feedstock freight into BESS operations and ensures internal stakeholder and supplier requirements are met. The analyst plans and optimizes inbound flows within a growing logistics network, including international and hazardous-material shipping.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in logistics.
• Passion for sustainability and making the world a better place.

Nice To Haves

• A major in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Analytics, or a master’s degree.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate inbound and outbound receiving schedules with suppliers and carriers to support on-time logistics execution.
• Communicate shipment information to carriers, internal stakeholders, and customers.
• Manage logistics operations across transportation modes, coordinate with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers, and collect shipping data in a Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Prepare shipping documentation, including international transportation and hazardous-material shipping documents.
• Develop reporting tools and track logistics performance metrics.
• Monitor shipping costs and optimize logistics routing.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders, customers, and 3PL providers to meet operational demands and resolve issues.
