About The Position

This role provides logistics support analysis to keep all on-site test equipment operational and available for use by the Aegis Combat System (ACS) Developer. The position also offers logistics support analysis for waterfront and shipyard operations. The analyst will participate in site support and equipment failure/Trouble Failure Reports (TFR) review meetings to determine material support requirements and appropriate funding requirements/obligations. This role involves acting as a liaison between US Government personnel (AEGIS TECHREP) and BAE Systems Inc. personnel, processing AEGIS shipping requests/DD 1149 Shipment Forms via US Navy ERP, and managing documentation/invoices through material receipt uploads. Database management using MS Excel, material shipment coordination (interagency), and review/analysis of material stock levels/inventory and supporting special projects are key functions. The analyst will determine material procurement requirements, screen for availability through authorized sources of supply, and review funding availability for material procurements, processing orders through the federal supply system or open purchase. Assistance with inventory management of site Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) is also required. The role includes attending weekly status meetings, generating reports for the leadership team, and working with junior and senior team members to determine material procurement processes, communicate customer needs/requirements, and screen for availability. Preparation and contribution to reports and presentations for the AEGIS TECHREP customer and/or BAE Systems leadership are expected. Regular engagement with customer(s) and conducting team meetings as requested are part of the responsibilities. Requirements

  • Security Clearance// SECRET
  • Associate’s Degree and 4 years work experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years work experience
  • MS Office Suite proficiency
  • Associate’s Degree and 4 years applicable work experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years applicable work experience
  • MS Office Suite (Excel proficiency is desired)
  • Typically a High School Diploma and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • Military Experience in Logistics, Supply Support, or equivalent experience is desired
