About The Position

The Logistic/Distribution Warehouse Lead supports daily shipping and distribution operations at ITW Pro Brands’ Tucker, Georgia location. The role coordinates domestic and international shipments, including hazardous materials, parcel, air freight, and container shipments. This hands-on lead organizes daily work, guides and cross-trains team members, maintains accurate shipping documentation, and works across departments to meet customer commitments, safety requirements, and operational objectives. The position provides day-to-day team leadership and escalates personnel or operational concerns to management. ITW Pro Brands manufactures lubricants, cleaning chemicals, and corrosion preventatives for industrial markets including automotive, aviation, fabricated metal, food processing, and machinery manufacturing. The company has 250 employees and four manufacturing facilities. The position is non-exempt and full-time.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum five years of shipping, distribution, or warehouse experience; manufacturing experience is preferred.
Minimum five years of leadership experience, including coordinating daily operations, training employees, and supporting team performance.
Hazmat shipping certification and experience handling hazardous materials in accordance with applicable regulations.
Minimum five years of forklift experience, including stand-up forklift operation.
Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments, including container shipments, air freight, and shipping documentation.
Proficiency with FedEx, UPS, Microsoft Office, and shipping or warehouse management systems.
Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S practices, daily scheduling, project planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong organizational, scheduling, project-planning, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate across departments and guide team members.
Ability to work independently, prioritize operational demands, and maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, professionalism, and customer service.
Ability to interpret shipping instructions, safety procedures, and operational documents; maintain accurate records and demonstrate professionalism.
Experience with international container shipments, air shipments, and FedEx and UPS shipping processes.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Shipping, distribution, or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate daily shipping and distribution activities, including workload planning, scheduling, prioritization, and timely completion of customer orders.
Provide day-to-day guidance, training, cross-training, and work direction to shipping personnel; support continuity of operations in the manager’s absence.
Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including ocean containers, air freight, FedEx, UPS, and carrier pickups; track shipments and communicate delivery status.
Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate shipping, export, and hazardous-material documentation in accordance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements.
Apply hazmat training and certification when preparing and shipping regulated products; promptly report safety concerns and ensure adherence to safe handling procedures.
Operate stand-up forklifts as needed and follow warehouse equipment and safety procedures.
Partner with Customer Service, Operations, Production, and other departments to resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, and customer concerns.
Monitor daily shipping performance, identify errors or bottlenecks, and escalate significant operational issues to management.
Support 5S, Lean, visual management, and continuous-improvement activities to improve safety, quality, accuracy, and productivity.
Assist with shipping-related project planning, implementation, and process improvements; maintain organized records and required reports.
Model professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and effective time management in daily interactions.
