About The Position

Tropicana Brands Group is seeking a Logisitics team member to support the FC Blending team at its manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for safely operating and maintaining juice-processing equipment to meet production schedules and established quality standards. The employee performs production and quality checks, equipment center-lining and clean, inspect and lubricate (CIL) activities, troubleshooting, material tracking, sanitation, and workplace organization. The position also supports team training, safety activities, and production operations, including overtime and work on other shifts as needed.

Requirements

Ability to operate the filling-system HMI and other necessary equipment.
Ability to read and interpret filling schedules.
Ability to operate complex machinery to achieve production goals.
Ability to develop, foster, work in, and maintain a team environment.
Ability to understand and comply with quality assurance and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
Ability to recognize unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action.
Ability to use basic computer functions and applications, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, SAP, and other functional PC applications.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Forklift license required.
Must be willing to work other shifts as needed to provide technical support and training, and overtime as needed to support 24/7 operations.
Ability to work with software including Microsoft Office, SAP, Outlook, Zarpac, DM5, and ADC.
Must be located in Bradenton, Florida, or the surrounding area, or be willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
Must be willing to work onsite at the manufacturing facility full-time.
Must be able to perform physical tasks throughout the shift, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting or moving items weighing 50 pounds or more.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Work assigned shifts and overtime as needed, including other shifts for training, production demands, and technical support.
Operate juice-processing equipment safely and meet production schedules.
Maintain juice-processing equipment to meet established quality standards.
Perform quality checks to verify that ingredients, labels, products, and other materials are correctly used during production runs.
Perform equipment center-lining and clean, inspect and lubricate (CIL) activities.
Troubleshoot the complete system, including equipment and subcomponents, using appropriate Focused Improvement tools such as Why-Why analysis.
Participate as needed in total production manufacturing (TPM), including AM, PM, FI, OCCI, EM, and HSE pillar teams.
Maintain work areas to 5S standards and ensure assigned areas meet AIB sanitation standards.
Direct work to maintain an AIB-compliant workplace and enter and follow up on AIB work orders in SAP.
Track and maintain material counts and troubleshoot variances.
Resolve equipment and system problems as they occur.
Read and implement juice filling schedules.
Tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritize business strategies and implement short- and long-term strategies that support organizational operations and transformation.
Lead, influence, and collaborate across functions to drive results through formal and informal channels.

Build organizational capacity by training co-workers in classroom or hands-on settings.
Model safety practices, including PPE and GMP; participate in the department safety committee and assist with safety inspections and training.
Assist with accident investigations, 7-step processes, and Why-Why analysis in a timely manner.
