About The Position

Yellowstone Club's Residential Services is currently seeking candidates for a Lodgekeeper for the upcoming Winter season! Our Winter employment months are November – April. The purpose of a Lodgekeeper is to provide overall cleanliness of all assigned Public/Common areas in accordance with Yellowstone Club Cleaning Standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
  • 3 months of experience in a housekeeping, janitorial or commercial laundry setting; hospitality setting desired, but not required
  • Valid US or International Driver’s License preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of technology
  • Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors, and other Yellowstone Club departments.
  • Able to write clearly and legibly.
  • Able to perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to solve basic problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that each Member and guest receives outstanding guest service in a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
  • Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our Members and guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
  • Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees, Members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact your direct manager, the Director of Housekeeping, or Human Resources immediately.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a positive working environment.
  • Clean all assigned Public/Common areas of the Club in strict accordance with standards.
  • Assist with member laundry as needed.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities, including but not limited to, sweeping; scrubbing; mopping; dusting; polishing; vacuuming; sanitizing and shampooing.
  • Travel from building to building in all weather conditions. Assist with resupply of facilities on-mountain, accessible by ski lift or gondola.
  • Conduct deep cleans of all Public/Common areas as assigned.
  • Ensure all Membership Public/Common areas, locker rooms, rest rooms, departmental offices, and Employee areas are maintained and inspected according to standards.
  • Operate within various Lodgekeeping teams to achieve an exceptional level of efficiency and quality as they relate to Lodgekeeping services.
  • Follow assigned checklists, cleaning instructions and regularly meet deadlines.
  • Maintain cleaning totes, carts, linen rooms and housekeeping equipment and supplies in a neat and orderly fashion, keeping a consistent inventory of all consumables and replacing appropriately.
  • Report all necessary maintenance issues to supervisors or management immediately.
  • Comply with all Club policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Comply with OSHA standards for chemical handling.
  • Converse with the Membership and guests at a high level, being aware of their needs and being able to follow through on meeting those needs.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of our Members and the Public/Common areas being cleaned, maintaining privacy of Members and Club facilities at all times.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Club policies, procedures, and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance and consistency standards.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Treat Members, guests, vendors, customers and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times.
  • Maintain privacy of our Members at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers, and directors/VPS.
  • Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.
  • Project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club to Members and guests at all times.
