About The Position

This is a contract, on-site position offering an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a collaborative clinical environment. As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic interpretations that directly support patient care. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals within the medical practice industry, contributing your radiology expertise to a range of imaging studies while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.

Requirements

  • MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Radiology
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Missouri
  • Associate-level experience in radiology or related clinical practice
  • Proficiency in interpreting a broad range of diagnostic imaging modalities
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site clinical environment
  • Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and ethical practice
  • Experience with electronic medical records and radiology information systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Level I Trauma
  • Must be board-certified

Nice To Haves

  • Primarily outpatient imaging with some ED coverage for stroke workups
  • Case Types: CT, MRI, CT neck studies, stroke imaging, and complex neuroradiology cases

Responsibilities

  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds
  • Provide accurate and timely radiology reports to referring physicians
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Ensure compliance with established clinical protocols and safety standards
  • Review and correlate imaging findings with clinical history and prior studies
  • Communicate critical findings promptly to appropriate clinical staff
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in electronic medical records
  • Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities as required
  • Stay current with advances in radiology technology and diagnostic techniques
  • Provide consultation and guidance to clinical colleagues on imaging-related matters
  • Adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and institutional guidelines
  • Support continuous improvement of radiology workflows and patient outcomes
