About The Position

This is a contract, on-site position offering an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide high-quality pediatric care in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment. As a Locum Pediatrician, you will deliver comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, including routine wellness visits, acute illness management, and preventive health services. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for young patients and their families.

Requirements

  • MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Georgia
  • Associate-level experience in pediatric clinical practice
  • Current DEA registration and NPI number
  • Valid BLS and PALS certifications
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills in pediatric medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based medical practice
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based care
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and workflows

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric care to patients from infancy through adolescence
  • Conduct routine well-child visits, developmental screenings, and preventive care
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric illnesses and conditions
  • Prescribe and manage medications, therapies, and treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging studies
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals
  • Counsel parents and guardians on child health, nutrition, and development
  • Administer vaccinations in accordance with CDC and AAP guidelines
  • Participate in patient follow-ups and continuity of care planning
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide compassionate and culturally sensitive care to diverse patient populations
