About The Position

This contract, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide expert neurological care in a collaborative and patient-focused clinical environment within the medical practice industry. In this locum role, you will deliver comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting with a wide range of neurological conditions. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, contributing directly to improved patient outcomes and the continued reputation of the practice for high-quality neurological services.

Requirements

  • MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree from an accredited institution
  • Associate-level experience in neurology or a related clinical setting
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
  • Valid and active medical license to practice
  • Strong clinical knowledge of neurological disorders and treatment protocols
  • Proficiency in interpreting neurological diagnostic tests and imaging
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in clinical decision-making
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site medical practice environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to commit to a contract-based locum assignment
  • Must be board-certified
  • BLS, DEA, and CSR/CDS required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough neurological evaluations, histories, and physical examinations of patients
  • Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of neurological disorders and conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests such as EEGs, MRIs, and CT scans
  • Prescribe and manage appropriate medications and therapies
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, and allied health staff
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation and records
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
  • Participate in clinical consultations and case discussions with the care team
  • Adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and safety standards of medical practice
  • Provide continuity of care throughout the duration of the locum assignment
  • Triage, consults, and occasional in-person evaluations
