About The Position

Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a Locum or Regional Associate Veterinarian to support their network of veterinary hospitals throughout the region. This unique opportunity combines the flexibility and variety many veterinarians enjoy about relief work with the stability, benefits, and long-term support of a permanent position. The veterinarian will work alongside talented veterinary teams across multiple hospitals, helping provide exceptional patient care while experiencing different practice styles, teams, and communities throughout the region. Requirements

  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in [State(s)]
  • Adaptable and team-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Passion for high-quality patient care
  • Comfort working in a variety of hospital environments
  • Both experienced veterinarians and confident early-career doctors are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Practice medicine in multiple hospitals while remaining part of one organization.
  • Work with diverse teams and caseloads.
  • Experience different hospital cultures and workflows.
  • Build relationships across a regional veterinary network.
  • Provide support where it's needed most, assisting with vacation coverage, maternity leave coverage, temporary staffing support, hospital growth initiatives, mentorship support, and new hospital onboarding.
