About The Position

The Locker Room Fitness Attendant delivers professional service and customer care to club members and guests. The role maintains clean, organized, welcoming locker rooms and other designated areas, and proactively responds to members’ and guests’ needs and inquiries. The attendant also helps with housekeeping as requested and supports the smooth operation of the Club by following policies, safety practices, and management instructions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in fitness, hospitality, or a similar environment.
• Ability to interact positively and professionally with members and guests.
• Experience maintaining cleanliness and organization in a public or recreational facility.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to assist members and respond to their needs or concerns.
• Experience working as part of a team and contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Ability to handle minor issues or concerns with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Keep locker rooms and restrooms clean, stocked, fresh, and sanitary, including restocking supplies and cleaning floors and showers.
• Oversee daily assignments in designated areas to ensure Club standards and expectations are met, including keeping spaces clean and uncluttered, restocking supplies, and keeping marketing materials current.
• Assist with housekeeping as requested.
• Assist other employees and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
• Follow company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Maintain professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
• Follow safe working practices and comply with safety guidelines.
• Pursue personal and professional growth and maintain any certifications required for the role.
• Address and resolve challenges using available resources and work with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
• Attend daily briefings and participate in required activities.
