About The Position

Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux is a full-service casual dining sports bar known for its energetic gameday atmosphere, scratch-made food, and unmatched hospitality. We're looking for a dynamic, high-energy marketer who loves being out in the community and inside our restaurants. You'll be the link between corporate marketing and our local stores. You'll make sure every restaurant has a complete, active marketing calendar, carries out brand initiatives well, and builds real relationships in the neighborhoods it serves. This is a field role, not a desk job. You'll spend most of your week on the road, visiting restaurants, meeting community partners, and representing our brand at local events.

Requirements

  • Energetic and outgoing. You enjoy meeting people and walk into a room ready to connect.
  • Self-starter. You manage your own schedule and priorities across several locations without being told.

  • Organized and follows through. Calendars, deadlines, and checklists keep you on track.
  • Persuasive and respectful. You can hold GMs accountable while staying a trusted partner.
  • Flexible Schedule. You're open to evenings, weekends, and events when the community calls.
  • Brand ambassador. You represent the company professionally and with enthusiasm.
  • Social media savvy. You know what's trending on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, and you know how to make a restaurant stand out online.
  • Creative idea generator. You always have the next great promo, event, or contest idea. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Motivator. You know how to rally teams around a friendly competition.
  • 2+ years in local store marketing, field marketing, community relations, or restaurant/hospitality marketing (multi-unit experience preferred)
  • Restaurant or retail operations experience is a strong plus
  • Proven ability to plan and run events and promotions
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
  • Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, including current content trends; experience with Canva or other design programs a plus
  • Event planning experience, from concept and logistics through day-of execution
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record
  • Able to travel regularly (about [60-75]% of the time) and work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field preferred, but not required
