Local Event Manager, Toronto (Contract Position)

The Local Market Event Manager is responsible for delivering excellent brand experiences in their local territory and executing the marketing plan tailored to their community. They play a central role in managing tasks and executions, collaborating with different departments and external stakeholders to research, plan, and coordinate logistics for key activations. This temporary contract position requires 2+ years of experience in planning and executing brand marketing events, with a preference for experience in CPG brands and working at a marketing agency. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of local culture, events, and traditions, along with a client-service mindset and attention to detail.

• Deliver excellent brand experiences in the local territory
• Bring to life a brand world and marketing plan that is perfect for the community
• Play a central role in the day-to-day management of assigned tasks and executions in the market
• Work with different departments within the agency and external stakeholders to research, plan, and coordinate logistics for key activations
• Manage planning, execution, budget, and success of assigned programs
• Have 2+ years of experience in planning and executing brand marketing events
• Have experience working with CPG brands (a plus)
• Have experience working at a marketing agency and a strong understanding of the client/agency relationship
• Possess a natural client-service mindset and be eager and passionate about delivering results, partnership, and professionalism
• Possess a strong understanding of local culture, events, and traditions
• Have a strong attention to detail and a can-do mindset

• 2+ years of experience in planning and executing brand marketing events
• Experience working with CPG brands is a plus
• Experience working at a marketing agency and a strong understanding of the client / agency relationship

• Full-time contract position
• Weekly rate of $900 CAD
• Opportunity to travel up to 50% of the time
