About The Position

The Delivery Driver at North Coast loads, unloads, and delivers products from the warehouse to local destinations using a non-CDL box van. The role also assists on the production floor by sorting and packing products for delivery. Drivers are expected to be dependable, organized, efficient, and professional, and to ensure deliveries are accurate and on time. The position reports to the General Manager.

This is a full-time, nonexempt position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with weekend work when needed, and workdays may last up to 10 hours.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a delivery driver position.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid, clean driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles.
• Able to provide excellent customer service and support teamwork, open communication, performance, and workplace safety.
• Able to lift 30–50 pounds and work up to a 10-hour day, standing or walking most of the day.
• Able to perform single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling, as well as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Able to work in wet and dry conditions and in temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Able to work Monday through Friday and weekends when needed.
• Able to use tools and equipment, including knives.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of warehouse work experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing, seafood processing, or meat processing.
• Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to designated locations according to a scheduled route and ensure timely delivery.
• Load and organize products from the warehouse into the vehicle, and load and unload products as needed throughout the day.
• Follow road rules and regulations and company and state safety requirements for loading and unloading products.
• Scan or record delivery confirmation upon arrival at the recipient’s location.
• Collect recipient signatures at delivery locations.
• Assist with sorting and packing products for delivery on the production floor.
• Provide excellent customer service and contribute to teamwork, open communication, performance, and a safe workplace.
