About The Position

This seasonal role involves delivering products to various customers, including foodservice establishments. The driver will be responsible for rotating and stocking products on shelves, in coolers, and in vending equipment. This includes building small displays and setting up promotional materials like pricing signs and banners. The position also requires generating invoices and managing daily settlements of cash and charges. Frequent interaction with store management and receiving personnel is expected for load acceptance. The role requires significant physical activity, including repeatedly lifting and loading cases (20-45 pounds), pushing/pulling (40-150 pounds of force), reaching, squatting, and bending. Product is unloaded from the delivery vehicle using an electronic pallet jack or a two-wheel hand truck and moved to a designated backroom area. The role involves safely operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle (10,000-26,000 lbs -- D10K).

Requirements

21 years or older
Valid U.S. Driver's License
Valid DOT Medical Card required
Lifting and loading cases ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly during work hours
Pushing/pulling using from 40 - 150 pounds of force, occasionally
Reaching, squatting and bending while delivering and merchandising products in the store

Nice To Haves

Merchandising products (for example, filling shelves, building displays, making products look attractive on shelves, rotating product, cleaning shelves, or eliminating out of stocks and out of date products)
Using equipment to aid in hauling loads (for example, operating pallet jacks, using dock plates, or using load bars and straps)
Operating equipment (pallet jacks, lift gates on trailers, hand trucks, breakdowns, etc.)

Responsibilities

Deliver product and execute all promotions
Service all scheduled customers by the end of shift
Merchandise all accounts to local standards
Establish positive working relationships with primary contact at each account
Safely operate a small Commercial Motor Vehicle (greater than 10,000 lbs but less than 26,000 lbs -- D10K)
Lift and load cases ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly
Push/pull using from 40 - 150 pounds of force, occasionally
Reach, squat, and bend while delivering and merchandising products
Unload pallets of product from the delivery vehicle with an electronic pallet jack or 2 wheel hand truck
Put the product in a designated area in the stores' backroom
Generate invoice and responsible for daily settlement of cash and charges
Builds small displays and sets up promotional materials as pricing signs and banners
