Local Delivery Driver - D10K - Seasonal

About The Position

This role is seasonal only and will be in effect until October 2nd. The position involves delivering to all types of customers, including Foodservice, and driving the delivery vehicle to transport products to stores. Responsibilities include the ongoing rotating and stocking of product on store shelves, displays, in coolers, and vending equipment. The role also involves building small displays and setting up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners. The driver will generate invoices and be responsible for the daily settlement of cash and charges. Frequent interaction with store management and receiving personnel is expected for load acceptance. This position requires lifting and loading cases ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly during work hours, and pushing/pulling with 40-150 pounds of force, occasionally. It also requires reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering and merchandising products. The driver will unload pallets of product from the delivery vehicle using an electronic pallet jack or 2-wheel hand truck and place the product in a designated backroom area. The role involves safely operating a small Commercial Motor Vehicle (greater than 10,000 lbs but less than 26,000 lbs -- D10K).

Requirements

• 21 years or older
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Valid DOT Medical Card required

• Merchandising products (for example, filling shelves, building displays, making products look attractive on shelves, rotating product, cleaning shelves, or eliminating out of stocks and out of date products)
• Using equipment to aid in hauling loads (for example, operating pallet jacks, using dock plates, or using load bars and straps)
• Operating equipment (pallet jacks, lift gates on trailers, hand trucks, breakdowns, etc.)

• Establish positive working relationships with primary contact at each account
